The Airports Authority of India says that the passenger volume is set to increase to 412 million in just two years. And according to this analysis of the Indian Aviation market, during the next five years, the market size is expected to increase from $10.98 billion USD to $12.55 Billion USD, at a CAGR of 2.87%

Because of this incredible growth, the Indian government is heavily investing in aviation, including building new airports; expanding and updating existing airports; and overhauling and improving the country’s air traffic management systems. In fact, over the past 8 years, they’ve built 67 new airports, and are planning to open an additional 80 airports over the next 3 years.
