About the Club
Built for long-term membership
Upper Limit Flight Club was created for certificated pilots who want more than occasional rental—whether building experience, flying for recreation, maintaining proficiency, or preparing for ownership.
The Flight Club is not a flight training organization. Flight training is provided exclusively through Upper Limit Aviation. Club membership is for recreational flying, proficiency, and time building.
Mission: make recreational flying more accessible, affordable, and enjoyable while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and aircraft care.

How It Works
Five steps to flying with the club

Join the club
Membership is month to month at a single monthly fee. Aircraft rental is purchased separately in prepaid, aircraft-specific 5-hour blocks.

Complete enrollment
Submit your membership application, provide required pilot documentation, and establish your monthly payment method.

Aircraft checkout
Complete a checkout with an approved ULA instructor before operating any club aircraft. Requirements vary by aircraft type and experience.

Schedule flights
Reserve approved aircraft through the online scheduling system under club policies and availability.

Fly with confidence
Fly aircraft maintained by ULA's professional maintenance team to the same standards we expect for our own operations.
Membership
One membership for all club pilots
Flight Club membership is $99.00 per month and does not include aircraft rental time. Aircraft rental is purchased separately in prepaid, aircraft-specific 5-hour blocks.

Monthly dues bill on the first of each month, with a prorated first month. Dues and prepaid hours are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value except as required by law or approved in writing by ULA.

Aircraft
Club aircraft rates
Effective September 11, 2026. Rates are dry, per Hobbs hour, and do not include fuel. Aircraft availability, member qualification, checkout, and insurance approval apply.

Return aircraft fueled to the tabs unless an aircraft-specific rule states otherwise. Landing, ramp, parking, away-from-base hangar, deicing, customs, oil, and similar trip expenses are the member's responsibility.
Tecnam training and proficiency checkout is $410.00 per hour, including aircraft and instructor. Insurance requirements may require up to five hours of Tecnam training.
Tecnam split-time example: two active qualified members may split the $260.00 hourly aircraft rate to $130.00 each. The $410.00 training rate remains separate.
Prepaid Blocks
Aircraft-specific 5-hour blocks
- Prepaid hours apply only to the selected aircraft unless ULA approves a transfer in writing
- Members may buy additional 5-hour blocks at any time while membership is active
- All prepaid block prices are based on each aircraft category's full published dry hourly rate
Checkout completion does not guarantee flight authorization. Aircraft availability, member qualification, checkout requirements, and insurer approvals remain controlling.
Flying the Club
Expectations that keep everyone flying
The club is built on mutual respect, professionalism, and a shared commitment to safe flying. Membership is a privilege. ULA may suspend or terminate flying privileges when conduct, judgment, proficiency, or policy compliance compromises safety or the club.

Reservations
Reserve through the online system, especially for weekends, holidays, and extended trips. Cancel early if plans change so another member can fly.

Checkout
Approved checkout required before operating club aircraft. Additional or recurrent checkouts may be required for privileges.

Currency
Maintain all FAA currency for the operation you intend. The club may set additional proficiency or recency requirements for safety or insurance.

Aircraft care
Secure the airplane, remove trash and belongings, clean as needed, return it fueled to the tabs unless an aircraft-specific rule states otherwise, report discrepancies promptly, and leave records and equipment complete.

Safety first
If an aircraft has a mechanical concern or does not appear airworthy, do not fly it. Notify ULA immediately. We would rather delay a flight than compromise safety.

Respect
Honor reservation times, communicate schedule changes promptly, care for equipment, and treat members and staff with courtesy.

Personal minimums
Every pilot decides whether a flight can be conducted safely and legally. Never feel pressured by schedules or reservations.
Members must maintain renter's/non-owned aircraft insurance of at least $500,000 combined liability per occurrence, $100,000 per seat, and $65,000 for aircraft physical damage. The Tecnam P2006T requires at least $75,000 in aircraft physical-damage coverage and, unless ULA and its insurer approve otherwise in writing, two certificated pilots on board.
Aircraft availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, ADs, weather, training demand, or existing reservations may limit access. Rates, membership fees, fleet offerings, and fuel charges may change as allowed by the Membership and Aircraft Use Agreement, which remains controlling.
