Ten steps from inquiry to first flight

Students from India typically enroll as part of a scheduled training cohort so ULA can coordinate orientation, airport pickup, and training schedules for the group.

  1. Contact Upper Limit Aviation: Begin with our India admissions team at india.pilottraining@upperlimitaviation.edu for training, costs, housing options, visas, and enrollment requirements.
  2. Submit application and required documents: Passport copy, educational records, financial documentation, enrollment forms, and any additional admission documents.
  3. Pay the ULA SEVIS processing fee: $500 after acceptance. Covers SEVIS record creation, I-20 preparation, international student processing, and enrollment administration.
  4. Receive your Form I-20: Issued once required documentation and fees are received for your M-1 vocational student visa application.
  5. Pay the I-901 SEVIS fee: Required U.S. government fee before scheduling your visa interview.
  6. Schedule and attend your visa interview: At the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate with all required documents.
  7. Housing arrangements: We can help you find local housing options before arrival.
  8. Travel to Utah: Coordinate arrival date with admissions after visa approval.
  9. Orientation and TSA approval: Complete orientation, housing check-in, and TSA Flight Training Security Program (FTSP) requirements.
  10. Begin flight training: Start training after orientation and TSA approval are complete.
